Hospitality Support / Brand Ambassador
Description
At Collective Arts Brewing, we're dedicated to fusing the creativity of craft beverages with the inspired talents of emerging artists and musicians from around the world. Our mission is to create unique, boundary-pushing beverages that ignite the senses and spark conversation. We're excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as Hospitality Support / Brand Ambassador for our Pop Location, operating from May to October. This contract position offers the chance to be the face of Collective Arts in the Ottawa community while showcasing our innovative brews in a dynamic outdoor setting.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to be a part of our outdoor, summer pop up trailer in the vibrant ByWard Market area of Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the space including but not limited to the beer garden, and bottle shop. This role will be one of the faces of the Ottawa space ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales while upholding the brand's values and standards. . In addition to hourly wages, this position includes tips.
A typical day as the Hospitality Support / Brand Ambassador at Collective Arts Ottawa includes:
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, guiding them through our beverage offerings and making recommendations based on consumer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces
- Educate customers about Collective Arts Brewing, our brand ethos, and our commitment to creativity
- Act as a brand ambassador by embodying the Collective Arts spirit and values in all interactions with customers and fellow team members
- Assist with the daily opening and closing operations of the Ottawa Space
- Work with with the team to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere
We are looking for a candidate who has/are:
- Previous experience within the hospitality or craft beer industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of craft beer and a passion for the industry is preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required during the contract period.
- Entrepreneurial mindset that can react dynamically to challenges as they arise.
- High level of stamina to work in a fast paced, outdoor environment
- 19+ and Smart serve certified.
- Photography & content creation skills are considered an asset
