Collective Arts Job Board

Junior Brand Manager

Description

We're looking for a hands-on Junior Brand Manager to support our marketing engine across Collective Arts and Botany. In this execution-first role, you will be responsible for bringing our brands to life across every consumer touchpoint—from assisting with the product pipeline and packaging development to executing integrated marketing campaigns, social media, events, PR, and trade marketing.
Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager, Design, Sales, and the Owned Channels team, you will coordinate projects, manage our comms calendar, brief agencies, and create engaging content. You will play a vital role in how our brands show up day-to-day.

Note: This is not a traditional 9-to-5 role. It requires flexibility to support events, content capture, and brand activations, which will occasionally include evenings, weekends, and travel across Southern Ontario.

A typical day as a Junior Brand Manager will include:
Product, Packaging & Agency Support
  • Assisting the Senior Brand Manager with the product innovation pipeline, ensuring cross-functional timelines and deliverables stay on track.
  • Supporting the packaging development process by coordinating artwork routing, gathering approvals, and working closely with the Design and Production teams.
  • Developing clear, actionable creative briefs for internal teams, external agencies, and creators.
  • Collaborating with agencies and external partners to ensure all work aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives.
Campaign & Content Execution
  • Coordinating the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across Collective Arts and Botany.
  • Managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, approvals, and deliverables are met.
  • Managing the master social media and communications content calendar.
  • Creating campaign content across social media, including photography, short-form video, and supporting assets.
  • Writing copy and developing campaign messaging for social media and brand email campaigns.
  • Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Owned Channels) to ensure creative assets and messaging are cohesive across all owned platforms.
Events, PR & Trade Marketing
  • Coordinating brand events, activations, PR initiatives, and partnership opportunities.
  • Managing product samples, marketing materials, and campaign assets to support PR, creators, events, and brand partnerships.
  • Supporting the development of point-of-sale (POS) materials, trade marketing assets, and retail campaigns.
  • Working closely with the Sales team to support product launches, promotional initiatives, and overall campaign execution.
  • Participating in team planning, campaign development, and ongoing marketing initiatives.

How your time will be organized:
  • Brand Campaigns & Project Management (25%): Coordinating integrated campaigns, managing project timelines, writing agency briefs, and supporting execution from planning to launch.
  • Social Media & Content (25%): Managing the master comms calendar, capturing photography/video, and copywriting for social and email.
  • Product Pipeline & Packaging (15%): Assisting with the product lifecycle, routing packaging artwork, and supporting innovation deliverables.
  • Trade Marketing & Sales Support (20%): Coordinating POS materials, supporting retail campaigns/launches, and delivering campaign toolkits to Sales.
  • Events, PR & Partnerships (15%): Coordinating events, activations, sample distribution, and supporting creator/media partnerships.

We’re looking for candidates who have/are
  • Experience: 2–3 years in marketing, communications, brand marketing, or a related field. Experience working within a CPG, beverage, retail, or lifestyle brand is a strong asset.
  • Social Media Savvy: Experience managing content calendars and creating engaging, social-first content (including photography and short-form video).
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging across social media, email, and marketing campaigns.
  • Project Manager: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Relationship Builder: Comfortable coordinating projects across teams and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, creators, and external partners.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance creative thinking with flawless execution.
  • Adaptable & Proactive: Curious, collaborative, and always looking for ways to improve how our brands show up. Comfortable working within a small, fast-moving team.
  • Logistical Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Availability: Comfortable capturing content at events, activations, and day-to-day brand moments (including occasional evenings/weekends).
