Collective Arts Job Board

Communications & Content Coordinator

Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Content Coordinator to support our internal media engine across Botany and Collective Arts. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a constant flow of high-quality, social-first content that drives audience growth, cultural relevance, and product trial. This is a creator first role, where you will concept, shoot, edit, and publish content across platforms, while also acting as an on-camera presence. You will play a key role in how our brands show up day to day, across campaigns, events, and always-on content.
This is not a traditional 9 to 5 role. It requires flexibility to capture content in real time, including evenings, weekends, and travel across Southern Ontario for events, retail spaces, and brand activations. We have locations in Toronto, Hamilton and Cambridge.
A typical day as a Communications & Content Coordinator includes:
  • Capturing and creating content across Botany and Collective Arts, including short-form video, photography, and campaign assets
  • Concepting and executing social-first ideas based on platform trends, audience behavior, and cultural moments
  • Shooting and editing content quickly, with a focus on speed, consistency, and quality
  • Acting as an on-camera presence, bringing personality and authenticity to the brand
  • Capturing content at live events, retail locations, and day-to-day brand moments
  • Working closely with the Communications team to align on priorities, campaigns, and publishing cadence
  • Testing and iterating on formats, hooks, and storytelling approaches to improve performance
  • Collaborating with external creators to ensure content aligns with brand standards and direction
  • Participating in team planning, campaign development, and ongoing communications initiatives
  • Supporting broader Communications team needs as required

We’re looking for candidates who have/are:
  • 1–2 years of experience or relevant experience in content creation, social media, or a related field. Previous experience working with a CPG company is considered an asset

  • Deeply immersed in social content, trends, formats, and audience behavior
  • Comfortable and confident on camera, with the ability to connect naturally with an audience

  • Able to move quickly and create content in real time
  • Having a valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong instincts for storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
